Sperm Health 101: How to Improve Sperm Health and Fertility with Stephanie Anne
In today’s episode of Hera Health Hub we sit down with the lovely Stephanie Anne, a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. Steph has a passion for everything Women’s Health and Reproductive Health. She has worked in the field for over 10 years covering a range of specialties including Gynaecology, Fertility & IVF and Early Parenting Programs. You all LOVED our previous episode with Steph where we chatted all things menstrual cycle and fertility awareness so we just know you will love this one too.
We invited Steph back to explore everything related to sperm health including; how a fertility educator can support males and those with testes in improving sperm health and whether males should be taking similar preconception steps to women, like getting blood tests and taking supplements.
We also cover when further testing for sperm health is necessary, how age affects sperm quality and the various factors that can negatively impact sperm health. Steph shares practical advice on how men can improve their fertility through diet and lifestyle changes and dispels some common misconceptions around sperm health.
This episode is packed with valuable insights for anyone looking to understand and improve sperm health, we HIGHLY recommend sharing this with the males and people with testes in your life.
Stephanie also shares her “Kitchen Confession” in our segment where we share funny or embarrassing kitchen mishaps. From burnt dinners to culinary disasters, we embrace the imperfect moments and find humour in the kitchen.
